Q&A

1.) When and where did you learn to snowboard? Who did you learn from?

I learned to snowboard on a family vacation in Tahoe from my Uncle. I spent a few years after that riding golf course hills on Cape Cod haha.

2.) What has been your most memorable moment so far?

I went on a powder trip to Alaska a couple years ago, and something about snowboarding there really clicked with me. I love how the mountains just come straight up out of the ocean.

3.) What do you prefer, park or backcountry?

Backcountry if the snow is good, but park is always fun.

4.) Favorite Discrete product?

I hate riding in a jacket unless I'm in the backcountry, or it's snowing. So I love the Bernie Hoodies for snowboarding.

5.) Who are some of your favorite people to follow on Instagram?

Haha, besides hot babes, the instagram account "kook of the day" is absolutely hilarious. If you surf you NEED to follow them, it's pure gold.

6.) 20 years from now, what do you want to be remembered for?

20 years from now I hope my "mind over matter" startup religion of not believing in hangovers has become a phenomenon. Seriously, hangovers only exist if you let them... For 10% of your annual income I can teach you.

7.) Which athletes did you admire most growing up, and who do you look up to now?

I always looked up to Chas Guldemond growing up, he's got such a badass work ethic. Shayne Pospisil too, you can see his surfing in his snowboarding.

8.) Sponsors?

Sponsors: Head Snowboards, Smith Optics, Discrete
