Q&A

1.) When and where did you learn to snowboard? Who did you learn from?

Because I grew up in Las Vegas there wasn't to much influence or winter weather to support the winter lifestyle, but somewhere in there i found the passion for snowboarding. My parents owned a Cabin in Brianhead, so a couple times a year I was able to to get a taste of what would later consume my life. It wasn't until i was 14 that i was "allowed" to snowboard. My older brother Jimmy was the driving force behind my passion through the competitions of winning a stickers at the local shop. It wasn't until i moved to Steamboat Springs in 2000 that i was really able to sink my teeth into the sport. Rustin Colbur and his crew took my under their wing and there was no turning back.

2.) What has been your most memorable moment so far?

Heli trips to interior BC. Those endless runs of untouched powder are burned deep into my memory.

3.) What keeps you snowboarding?

The fun of creating your own line though whatever terrain is motivating you at the time.

4.) Favorite mountain to shred?

Brighton Resort

5.) Who are some of your favorite people to follow on Instagram?

I'm pretty random on those i follow, most are guide and hunting companies.

6.) 20 years from now, what do you want to be remembered for?

Fluidity and style

7.) Which athletes did you admire most growing up, and who do you look up to now?

Nicholas Muller and JP Solberg where always motivating me, now i would say anyone that isn't taking to seriously and just wants to have fun.

8.) Sponsors?

Discrete baby!!!, but that's it, I dropped out of the game a while back because i was loosing the love and passion, with that i lost my sponsors.
